Private Renting for International Students

Finding private accommodation in a new country can be challenging. Many listings are unclear, unavailable, or difficult to secure from abroad. S-LET provides dedicated support to international students looking for safe, reliable private rental accommodation in university towns and cities.

University-Provided Accommodation

Typically studios or shared residences managed by universities. Availability is limited and often allocated on a first-come basis.

Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA)

Privately owned, student-only buildings offering studios or rooms with shared facilities. These are not operated by universities.

Private Rental Accommodation

Properties owned by individuals, companies, or investors, usually renting on standard terms such as 12-month agreements.

S-LET works exclusively with Private Rental Accommodation providers. We do not partner with universities or PBSA operators.

Age & Eligibility

Students must be 18 or over to rent privately.
Students under 18 — we can advise on alternative options.
